Hey Losers!

Pat and I have been married for 10 years. In retrospect where it all started going downhill was the first time we put on a pair of flannel pj pants. When we first started dating I would spend half a day getting ready for a date. I went shopping on a regular basis and bought cute little clothes and flattering jeans, high helled boots and undergarments that could pass for hair ties. Not long after the honeymoon was over I slipped on those flannel elastic waist pants and one of Pat's over sized t-shirts and the rest is history. It doesn't help that my husband's greatest passion in life is cooking (usually with equal parts, whipping cream, butter and cheese).

To gain three pounds a year really doesn't seem that out of the ordinary but 10 years pass and that makes 30 pounds of extra weight. So this Wednesday, Thursday at the Wheat land Mall is the weigh-in for the Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge that I am not only a sponsor but will be a contestant. If you would like to join me on this two month journey check out the link for rules and prizes and we will see you at the scales (Don't worry you don't have to do a public weigh in wearing a sports bra and spandex shorts like the biggest loser.)
