Fun Fabulous Friday

Enough sad talking about sick kids.  I have more pictures to share from Disney World.  This time Typhoon Lagoon. We picked the warmest day of our trip to head to the sand and spend a great half a day swimming and sliding.  

Levi reluctantly stopped and let me take a picture.

Quite and impressive place and we almost had it all to ourselves.

The little two spent a lot of time in the sand and the wadding area.  No need to drag shovels and pails there.  The kid's lunches come in a pail or you can get a cheap one at the gift shop.

A lady stopped me because of my sweatshirt.  Go Riders, Where are you from?  Swift Current.  Oh me too!  What are the odds?

We soaked up every minute of sun we could until it started to rain.  Not content to pack it in we all geared up to meet the rest of the crew at Magic Kingdom.  It was a wet night followed by hours of blow drying runners.

Eye Exam?? I think I should get my head examined.

It is that time of year again, back to school which means looking at the board. I noticed Olivia has been squinting so I decided to take the kids to Optical Image for their yearly eye exams. Why not book four appointments in a row and take Ellie along too!

This is what happens when you try to blowdry your hair so you don't have a "mom bun" for once and let your one year old dress herself. Only one shoe and it's on the wrong foot and how about a sandal through the third toe? Hair ties for bracelets completes the look.

I bought Carson gum yesterday and said he could have it after his eye exam. He doesn't listen and had it for breakfast. He thought it would look nice as a moustache. Ellie swallowed four pieces of gum during the eye exams which still didn't keep her quiet.
Levi complains that he doesn't get enough "blog face time" but then every picture I take of him he is either annoyed or it is embarrassing so what can I do?

Here are his size 34 shorts that he made me buy him which he said fit and he refuses to wear a belt and I don't know cool....

Sometimes brothers and sisters can get along and be nice to eachother.

On of the things about my job I have always loved it that it has allowed me to spend a lot of quality time with my kids. Sometimes if the job is right I can even take them with me. Like on this night when I drove to a farm to photograph my sister in laws parents. I knew they wouldn't mind a few little distractions.

They even had a chance to feed the baby calves. Pretty cool for city kids.

Ellie found a great game to play. She would take the golf balls and throw them. Then she would hold your hand do a lap around and throw them again. I am sure she could have done it for hours.
